Braidwood is located approximately 300kms south-west of Sydney and half way between Batemans Bay and Canberra. Braidwood was the first complete town to be listed on the NSW State Heritage Register.
Braidwood court house is located on Wallace Street. It’s a federation single-story brick building and was built in 1837.
Braidwood can be reached by driving from Sydney via Goulburn, or on the King’s Highway from Canberra. Murray’s Coaches also run daily bus services between Batemans Bay and Canberra.
