Braidwood Local Court

Braidwood is located approximately 300 kilometers South-West of Sydney, and halfway between Batemans Bay and Canberra.

Braidwood was the first complete town to be listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register. Braidwood courthouse is located on Wallace Street. It is a federation, single-story brick building, and was built in 1837.

Braidwood can be reached by driving from Sydney via Goulburn, or in the Kings Highway from Canberra. Murray’s coaches also run daily busy services between Batemans Bay and Canberra.
